HECA was established in 1997 comprising 37 members. Its primary objectives are to connect industry effort and knowledge of members in the development of cables industry, following the Vietnam policies, and to continuously create membership value and benefits.

Main activities include:

1. Organize training courses, seminars workshops for improving technological knowledge and skills of our members.

2. Organize excursions to visit cables manufacturers of weigh boring countries, international fair and exhibitions for exchanging technological experiences and management.

3. Contributes professional opinions for Government Policies formulation.
